Convenience
With your Tulane Card account, you can enjoy the convenience of paying for just about anything on campus with a simple swipe of your ID card. No more worries about carrying cash, checks, credit cards or having exact change. Use your Tulane Card to purchase books, school supplies, a croissant to go with that mid-morning iced mocha and more. It can be used for services such as laundry, soda and snack machines, copiers and computer printing. The amount of your purchases will be automatically deducted from your Tulane Card account. The remaining balance will be displayed so that you'll always know how much you have left in your account.
Security
It's safer than cash. Your Tulane Card account is accessed through your photo ID card, reducing the risk of misuse. If you lose your Tulane Card, your account is frozen as soon as you notify the Tulane Card Office in Bruff Commons. If you find your card later, just take it to the Tulane Card Office to reactivate your account. A replacement card can be purchased there as well. You'll always feel secure knowing that you have the purchasing power of cash without the risk of losing it.
Flexibility
It's easy to open a Tulane Card account. Visit an automated deposit station located in the Lavin-Bernick Center, Bruff Commons, Howard-Tilton Library, Willow Cyber Cafe, School of Architecture, Medical School Library or the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. You can also make an online deposit at http://cardservices.tulane.edu, visit the card office in person, or mail a check to the Tulane Card Office.
