If I'm on a meal plan, should I put money on my Tulane Card debit account?

Absolutely! Tulane Card debit funds (not Meal Plan dollars) are accepted at PJ's Coffee, laundry facilities, vending machines, and the Bookstore. Other convenient locations accepting Tulane debit are Cleanerama, Paris Parker Salon, Fed-Ex Kinko's Copy Center and more. When a student has exhausted their allowance for computer printing, Tulane debit is the only accepted method of payment.

How do I enroll?

Simply complete a deposit form and return it with your check to the Tulane Card Office or you can make a deposit online at https://aurora.tcs.tulane.edu/acctrec/secure.

How much money should I put on my Tulane Card debit account?

This amount varies from person to person, but we set up a sample budget to help you find what amount you may need per semester.

Can I make additional deposits?

Yes, the Tulane Card Office accepts cash and check deposits of any amount during business hours, online at https://aurora.tcs.tulane.edu/acctrec/secure, or our Automated Deposit Stations accept cash deposits at any time. For more information, browse to Deposit Money.

Will I lose any unused debit funds at the end of the semester or at the end of the year?

No, the funds in your account will automatically roll over from one semester to the next.

Can I withdraw funds on demand?

No, the Tulane Card is a campus debit account to make purchases at Tulane University. Banking regulations prohibit on demand withdrawals.

What should I do if I lose my Tulane Card?

Report the loss immediately in person or by telephone to the Tulane Card Office 504.865.5629 in Bruff Commons to prevent unauthorized use of your card. If you find it later, we can reactivate your card at no cost! Cost of a replacement is $20.00.

What if my Tulane Card gets damaged?

The Tulane Card Office will replace your card free of charge, as long as the cardholder possesses a part/parts of his or her card.

How do I close my Tulane Card account?

Upon graduation, official withdrawal from school, or termination of employment, you may submit a written request for a refund to the Tulane Card Office. The refund will be processed as stated in the Terms and Conditions.
